Education and Special Training

Dr. Dahan is licensed in both NY and CA and has been in private practice for 17 years.  She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed post-doctoral training at The William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis & Psychology as well as the Ackerman Institute for Families and Couples.  Dr. Dahan's area of specialization is working with individuals impacted by chronic medical conditions including cancer, heart disease and infertility and her research on trauma and post-traumatic growth in multiple myeloma has been published.  She supervised doctoral students in the Integrated Health Psychology Training program at the Wright Institute for two years.  Dr. Dahan was recently certified by JFK University with special training in Nutritional Psychology. Dr. Dahan is mentored by and associated with Dr. Orah Krug, a recognized leader in her field of Existential-Humanistic Therapy.
